Refresh your self-care habits just in time for the holidays

Monday, December 4th- Sunday, December 10th

We don’t like to talk about this, but…

The holidays can be stressful.

In fact, a study done in 2015 reported that 62% percent of respondents described their stress level as “very or somewhat” elevated during the holidays (while only 10% reported having no stress during the season).

And for highly-sensitive people especially, this stress is amplified to 100.

You know what it feels like: the anxious out-of-routine feeling, the something-always-goes-wrong travel, the family drama at the dinner table, the crazy last-minute holiday shopping, the painful feelings of nostalgia, grief, and the passage of time.

Even the holiday fun and festivities (think: cookies, booze and late nights) can wind up making you feel *dysregulated* as hell thinking, “I really need to get back into my routine.”

From the strong emotions to the too-much indulgences, the holidays can all take its toll on a sensitive soul like you. And without the tools to deal with it, the less you can actually enjoy the season.

That’s why I designed the Holiday Habit Reset Challenge.

What’s the Holiday Habit Reset Challenge?

The Holiday Habit Reset is a free, week-long challenge to help you create (and stick to!) a new sensitive self-care habit–all in the name of feeling more calm, peaceful and actually being able to enjoy the holidays this year.

How does it work? As part of the 7-day challenge, you’ll build the tools and strategies to take on all this holiday season has in store for you. During the week, you’ll receive a daily email from me that contains the day’s wellness theme, recommended reflections and goals.

You’ll also receive helpful resources along the way, like an energy checklist, habit tracker, and my Holiday Thrive Guide for HSPs.

What’s the result? Each day focuses on a new self-care theme, providing you with insightful reflection prompts to dig deep, resources with tools and strategies, and of-the-moment tips for creating and sticking with your habit of choice–all so you can confidently show up for the holidays with a new habit under your belt that helps you feel your best.

Why join the Holiday Habit Reset Challenge?

Turn down the noise and focus on what matters.

The holiday season brings its own unique challenges to highly-sensitive people, not to mention the overall busyness of the season: end-of-year work deadlines, financial stress, crazy traffic, and the countless tasks to prepare it all.

The Holiday Habit Reset Challenge is an opportunity to reinvigorate your self-care habits and carve out dedicated YOU time during a season when you need it most.

In just 7 days, walk away with the tools to really enjoy the holidays and the tangible strategies to feel more calm, more relaxed and present (and less like the prickly, live-wire stress ball you might usually feel like.)

The care practices that you create during this challenge will not only help you conquer the holidays, but give you far-reaching confidence in your ability to take care of yourself in a new way for months to come.

Challenge FAQ

  • Pick your own timing and goals–with no disruption with calls or times you need to be somewhere to participate.

Expect to spend about 10-15 minutes a day for 7 days reading the emails and doing the activities listed, in addition to whatever habit you choose.

  • It’s free!

  • This free, short, low-stakes challenge will gently guide you through the process of creating a new practice while also providing you with the tools and accountability to stick with it.

It’s an opportunity to finally launch the self-care habit you’ve been wanting to begin, while still going at your own pace.

Finish the challenge with new-found confidence AND tools to take on the holiday season with less stress and more presence, peace and ease (nice!).

  • Nope! I’ll walk you through each step of the journey, including how to pick your habit, track your progress, and what to do when sticky mindset traps come up (like, “I don’t have enough time!”).

My only recommendation is to pick out a time and place (and favorite journal and pen!) ahead of time to do the exercises undisturbed each day.

The biggest gift you can give yourself is self care

As a compassionate and sentimental person, you know that sometimes the smallest gifts are the most meaningful ones.

So here’s a question for you: What are you giving yourself this holiday season?

Remember, big changes start with humble beginnings and small, intentional steps along the way.

It’s time to give back to yourself in the way you do for so many others, HSP, during a season that can push you to your limits.

I hope you will put yourself first this year and join this small journey of simple-yet-effective self care this holiday season.
